This exciting original IP film may not break new ground with its gangster-juke joint-night of supernatural chaos plot but its ingenious fusion of sumptuous visuals, genre defying music based on Southern Black Blues, and kitchen sink story elements and technical proficiency makes for a theatrical experience unlike any you will see this year.
