Her new film is an allegoric tale about love and dating in the social media/materialistic 2020’s and follows a matchmaker who has to choose between either Chris Evans or Pedro Pascal. Dakota Johnson (aka Madame Web) wrestles MIGHTILY, folks. Does Johnson bring the acting thunder to this meditation on love and superficiality and wading through dating or is this a mixed bag message that wants its fairy tale cake AND to eat its brutal, emotional warfare icing too?
