2021 has been full of adventures for Shannon Fisher! In February, she purchased "Beaulah", a 2006 retired ambulance that she is converting into a campulance. On her 45th birthday in May, she celebrated with her sister by hiking and backpacking 45 miles on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail.

July included a week-long family trip to South Dakota. Shannon loved introducing her nieces and nephew to the hiking trails in Badlands National Park, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park. In September, she joined friends in southern Utah for their 3rd annual hiking and canyoneering week-long adventure. In October, she plans to solo hike the 30-mile Eagle Rock Look in Arkansas's Ouachita National Forest. Her goal is to hike 500 miles in 2021.

Shannon has worked in the public education sector for 23 years. She currently serves as the Director of Online Training and Development for an education service agency in Kansas and creates online professional learning courses for teachers.
