Doug Lawrie (IG: @focusgolfgroup, X: @FocusGolfGroup, FB: @DougLawrieGolf) is the Director of Instruction and owner of Focus Golf Group just outside of Toronto, Canada. Doug and his team have a unique ability to work with juniors of all types allowing the kids and himself to achieve tremendous success (Doug was awarded the 2020 Canadian PGA Teacher of the Year Award). It starts with the simple, yet necessary fundamentals such as communication and identifying what the student wants to achieve that leads to them building a map of how to get there.

Part of Doug’s success is derived from his amazing story. His career took an unexpected turn 12 years ago, and at the time was perceived to be a failure.
