In a year that has been a veritable gift for horror fans, the director of “Barbarian” unleashes his eagerly anticipated follow-up, “Weapons” starring Josh Brolin (top billing! We explain…), Julia Garner, (Jose’s future husband) Alden Ehrenreich, and Benedict Wong. For a film shrouded in secrecy and teased by a provocative and intriguing teaser trailer, Weapons is poised to draw the audience into its web of mystery. WS+ hosts, WillDaBeast and Cupcake, were NOT ready for the cinematic assault of the double-back, time-around narrative, the true reveal of the genre, the central mystery, and the craziest WTF ending (Director Zach Cregger must have watched “28 Years Later” and then said….hold my f&*king beer). Not to sound like Alfred Hitchcock, but please don’t spoil the film for your friends or yourself and try to watch this one blind. This is a must listen to episode!
