Welcome back to Pastor to Pioneer! This week, Britton talks to Jake Duke, a man who, after years of travel and ministry in various parts of the country and the world, finds himself back in his home town—and feeling called to impact the place in which he grew up. Jake lived for several years doing ministry in Dallas, Texas, and also spent some time in India, where he had the opportunity to see simple church and practical, every day disciple-making in action. He felt moved to bring those same things to his hometown, and so now is back on his family's farm—as the eighth generation there, no less—finding ways to bring positive change to the town of his birth. Jake shares with Britton about all of these things, as well as the ways in which he has seen maturity and multiplication come through the simplicity of starting with his own family.
