The wonderful Ande Parks joins me to embellish upon his creative journey. That’s a lie. Ande talks frankly about the risky move to leave college in order to make it as an inker. Years later, he placed a greater bet on writing graphic novels—a gamble that ultimately led to co-writing the story for the film Extraction and a new career direction as a film and television writer. While the tools and technology have changed in his career, Ande’s thoughtful mindset for landing professional work hasn’t.
