This is Part 3 of a 3 part series on traveling to one of our favorite places - Walt Disney World.  If you have ever been to Disney before you probably already know how intimidating it can be, but follow along and we’ll help you plan like a pro.  This final installment is if you are traveling to Disney either alone as senior adults or maybe you have senior adults traveling with you for a family trip.  Use these tips to help devise a strategy for visiting the parks, tips for dining and nightlife both in and out of the park, and choosing the best time to visit.  So pack your bag and come with us to one of the most magical places on earth.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience App ahead of time and know how to make park reservations, complete online hotel check in, buy park and special event tickets, make dining reservations, and navigate Virtual Queue and Genie Plus.  For help with all these things and more, check out My Magical Experience Plan Guide and Tutorial. 

See if Disability Access Service applies to your senior and learn how to register here.  This service can make navigating the parks with a senior more enjoyable if they quality for the service, otherwise we highly recommend using the Genie+ Service and Standby Skipper. 

Minnie Vans (powered by Lyft) are able to accommodate scooters and wheelchairs and may be helpful if traveling to Disney Springs or another resort hotel for dinner or to the parks.  Get a discount here when you sign up for Lyft.
