၂၀၁၁ခုႏွစ္ကစတင္ၿပီး ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးလုပ္ငန္းစဥ္ေတြကို ေဆာင္ရြက္လာခဲ့ေပမယ့္ တုိင္းရင္းသားလက္နက္ကုိင္ေတြနဲ႔အၿမဲ ရႈပ္ေထြးေနတဲ့ ရွမ္းျပည္နယ္ေျမာက္ပိုင္း မွာေတာ့ ပဋိပကၡေတြက ဆက္လက္ျဖစ္ပြားေနဆဲပါ။

တုိက္ပြဲေတြေၾကာင့္ လူေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ ေသဆံုးမႈ ၊ဆုိး၀ါးစြာဒဏ္ရာရရွိမႈနဲ႔ ေနာက္ဆက္တဲြဲရလာဒ္အျဖစ္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံအေရွ႔ေျမာက္တစ္ေလွ်ာက္မွာလည္း လူေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာက အိုးအိမ္စြန္႔ခြာမႈေတြ ျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။

The peace process launched in 2011 has brought only conflict in northern Shan State, where the situation is complicated by the number of ethnic armed groups. Violent clashes have left hundreds of people dead or badly injured and resulted in the displacement of thousands of people across north Eastern Myanmar.

Many have been killed and maimed by landmines in the region.
