Have you ever faced a situation that you are just praying for it to not happen? Maybe it’s bankruptcy, a divorce, or a child who is a prodigal, but whatever it is, you are begging God to take it from you so you don’t have to face it. Jesus shows us, in the Garden of Gethsemane, that deliverance does not always mean FROM a situation, but sometimes it means God delivers THROUGH a situation. Jesus knows what it’s like to face a situation and ask God to let it pass from you. But because Jesus faced what he had to face, and God did not let the cup pass from him, we, the entire human race, can experience hope, peace, love, and deliverance through whatever it is that is our Gethsemane season. After death, after grief, comes LIFE. 

Monologue: Autumn describes a morning when her two youngest kids ask for five dollars and what the five dollars were for.  

Message: Autumn shares an Easter message with a special focus on the Garden of Gethsemane and what believers should do when facing a situation that God will not take away or stop.
