His journey from having zero flight experience to becoming a skilled rotary-wing pilot and unit safety officer is nothing short of remarkable.

Prior to his time with the Michigan State Police, Sgt. Olivo served with the Saginaw Police Department as a major case detective and field training officer and started his career at the Flint Police Department.

His dedication to the role of tactical flight officer and his passion for developing top-notch candidates are central to his approach in airborne law enforcement.
