We sat down with Danielle Richter, Director of Marketing and Recruiting for Grad Professional Programs at Midland University, to discuss how to better the student experience from initial website inquiry through graduation. A couple of years ago, Danielle and her team decided to overhaul their internal processes for managing prospects, inquiries, and applicants. Midland decided that becoming known as “the helpful university” would be one of the ways they would differentiate themselves in the increasingly competitive market of small liberal arts schools. Danielle discusses the unique ways in which Midland approaches recruitment and advising, how they compete with the General Assembly's of the world, and what internal changes were required to ensure her team was equipped to deliver exceptional service throughout the enrollment journey and beyond. - - - -
