We, as black men, have an interesting way of communicating how we are doing. It's not a straight answer, but if you read between the lines, you might have an idea, for example, Don: How are you doing, bro? Lashawn: I'm just taking it one day at a time. The saying “taking one day at a time” is what we discuss today. Preparing for the future starts with what happens today, right?
