This is part 2 of a three part conversation with Michaela Hempen and Carmen Heritier. In the spring of 2024 Carmen sent her three year old quarter horse mare, Malu, to Michaela for three months of training.

In Part 1 we introduced Carmen and Malu, and then Michaela talked about the early steps in her training. Malu was a well-prepared horse, so the training flowed along.
