Earlier this month, the UK Government announced a record amount of renewable energy was secured through the biggest ever round of the Contracts for Difference Scheme. The auction results once again underlined that offshore wind is primed to continue playing an increasingly important role in our energy mix for years to come as well as highlighting the role of floating wind and tidal energy within our future energy mix.
