🎀 We wanted to cover one more newer release before the years end, so naturally we settled on Pearl; the prequel to Ti West's "X", also released in 2022, and the subject of an episode we did back in March. In this week's episode, we'll talk all about why Pearl is the exception to Zack's "Why Prequels Suck" rule, go over the connections and Easter eggs the movie shares with "X", speculate the plot for the upcoming sequel: MaXXXine, and why the X trilogy may already be the best horror trilogy without being complete, as well as discuss Mia Goth's Oscar-winning potential, and of course, as always, we'll also choose which character we think was most deserving to die.
