ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာေတာ့ ဒု႔ိအသံက ေတာင္ေပၚေဒသမွာေနထုိင္ေနတဲ့ မသန္စြမ္းသူေတြ ရင္ဆုိင္ေနရတဲ့ အခက္ခဲေတြကို နားလည္ႏုိင္ဖို႔အတြက္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံရဲ႕ေ၀းလံေခါင္းဖ်ားတဲ့ေနရာတစ္ခုျဖစ္တဲ့ ခ်င္းျပည္နယ္ကိုသြားေရာက္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ခ်င္းျပည္နယ္အတြင္းမွာ အစိုးရ မသန္စြမ္းသူေတြအတြက္ ေငြေၾကးအနည္းငယ္ပဲသံုးစြဲေနခ်ိန္မွာ မသန္စြမ္းသူေတြရဲ႕အေရးေတြကို လုပ္ေဆာင္ေနတဲ့ အဖြဲ႔အစည္းတစ္ခ်ိဳ႔ကလည္း အကန္႔အသတ္ရွိတဲ့ ဘတ္ဂ်က္ေတြၾကားမ်ား ထိထိေရာက္ေရာက္လုပ္ႏုိင္ဖုိ႔ အတြက္ ရုန္းကန္ေနရပါတယ္။

This week, Doh Athan travels to Chin State, one of the most remote parts of Myanmar, to understand the difficulties faced by people living with disabilities in the mountainous state.

There are some organisations working on the issue in the state, but they struggle to make an impact because of limited funding, while government spending for disability issues is very low.
