Today, Gwen and I decided to start at the beginning of this journey of grief, those horrible first few days after the death of a child or another loved one. Experiencing the death and having to go on without that person is unbelievably difficult. The physical and emotional toll related to that grief is almost impossible to comprehend. Even menial tasks seem too difficult to attempt. Getting out of bed can seem like too much, but this is an accomplishment! Give yourself grace to take these tiny steps daily.
