While there are many variations to this infamous legend, the common theme consists of a woman's spirit who is condemned to roam the earth, searching for her dead children. Many believe it was La Llorona who murdered her children. This legend dates all the way back to the 16th century and has been heard around the globe. Kaydra also reads many stories from Reddit users who shared family tales, or their own personal experiences with La Llorona.
