The Women’s College World Series is almost here! After a weekend of watching Supers and Stranger Things, Tom Canterbury and Gray Robertson are back to break everything down before the action starts in Oklahoma City. Here's your trip around the bases:
At the Plate (0:00-26:55): Tom and Gray react to the weird feeling of watching Supers without Alabama involved. Then, the guys look back at what happened in the Tuscaloosa Regional and address the transfer portal reports.
Advancing to First (27:02-52:57): Arizona All-American and softball analyst Kenzie Fowler Quinn stops by to discuss the Wildcats advancing to OKC, the biggest surprises in the NCAA Tournament, who can challenge Oklahoma, Oregon State’s Cinderella run to the World Series, the biggest takeaways from Supers, the drama of Arizona State-Northwestern, and much more.
Stealing Second (53:07-1:05:27): Tom and Gray look at the Day-side of the WCWS bracket and also look back at some of the Regional storylines from that half.
Rounding Third (1:05:45-1:23:27): Tom and Gray preview at the Night-side of the WCWS bracket and review some of the Regional storylines from that half.
Heading Home (1:23:34-1:52:22): To close the show, the guys make picks for the WCWS and then dive into an “Off the Wall” that covers the transfer portal, reacting to players when their seasons end, and so much more. Plus, Gray explains his role in Oklahoma City with D1 Softball.
Note: The Crimson Tide Sports Network’s softball radio affiliate has changed. To listen to games, tune in to 97.5 FM Tuscaloosa, download the 97.5 FM app (https://t.co/MC0HVxSw2T), or visit https://nick975.com/listen-live/popup/.
