He also holds dual leadership roles as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Chief of Staff at Hillcrest Healthcare System, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping clinical excellence and medical education across the region.

A former residency program director, Dr. Burns has trained and mentored countless physicians, emphasizing clinical rigor, leadership, and service to the community.
