He also owns Shepherd Construction Advisors, an owner's representation and construction consultant company. They focus on how to help people get the results they want from an architect or builder. They also help to get troubled projects back on track.

Matt and Curtis talk about their experiences with owners' reps, discuss consulting and marketing their businesses, comment on their service agreements, and share their advice for younger builders who provide services for free.
