Michael Vaccaro is a Law Enforcement Officer currently assigned as the supervisor of an Interdiction Unit. Earlier in his career, while a Field Training Officer in a Patrol Unit Vaccaro was quickly recognized for his skills and abilities related to interdiction.
Vaccaro has been personally responsible for the seizure of more than two million dollars in the United States currency, numerous kilograms of illegal narcotics, and over fifteen hundred pounds of Marijuana. His interdiction skills and abilities led to numerous significant seizures and arrests.
Today, Mike discusses how he got into law enforcement, his experiences and stories while in the field, what all cops should be looking out for while working interdiction and the most common ways drugs, guns and other illegal items are smuggled.
