WE’RE BAAAAAAACCCCCKKKK!!!! After a short break, the Watch/Skip’ers make a killer comeback on a new episode that is special in more ways than one! Emcee and Cupcake take on their first streaming exclusive film - Netflix’s Hit Man, directed by Richard Linklater and current IT dude, Glen Powell. The two are joined by one of THE pod-fathers - Sam U. Rai from the long running and vaunted Gentleman’s Guide to Midnite Cinema. And hang on for the ride: three plusses (Bruceploitation!, nasal orifices, and tires), a discussion of Linklater’s career, talk of personality tests, morals, flexing, and the definition of your new favorite buzzword: “vatican wafer”. Is Hit Man the herald of a new millennial movie star in the mold of Newman, Brando, and Cruise or should Hollywood really stop trying to make Glen Powell happen?
