To kick off the zombie summer series, Aaron and Derek welcome back friend of the show Kelly Sherman to discuss 1968's horror masterpiece "Night of the Living Dead" directed by George A. Romero and written by John Russo and Romero. They talk about the history of the zombie and how this movie transformed the concept into the modern cinematic trope. They also tackle the horror themes in zombie stories, Duane Jones casting and amazing performance, the copyright and distribution issues, the nature of the independent production, and many other topics about the film.
