In 1999, 21 year-old college student Justine Swartz was working as a cashier at Lowes to pay her way through school. Justine’s dream was to be an Elementary school teacher. Soon she met and hit it off with 26 year-old Eric Abshire, a former Marine who was a manager at the same store. After a six year courtship Eric proposed in 2005, and they were married in 2006. Shortly after the wedding, Justine began to pull away from her family who sadly had no idea how dark Justine’s world was about to become.
