Jacqueline Bartlam lived in a charming, detached 3 bedroom house in Nottinghamshire, England. She lived with her 2 sons Daniel and Dominic. On Easter Sunday of 2011, Jacqueline settled into bed to read her book, safe in the knowledge that her sons were asleep in their beds. As she was drifting off to sleep, she heard the familiar creak of someone stepping onto the uneven floorboard just outside of her bedroom.
