Giovanna Pollarolo is one of the most representative voices in poetry, the teaching of literature, and screenwriting in Hispanic American letters. From Peru, her work in film, television, and poetry shows how complex it has been to enter and remain in the literary field. A recipient of the Alfonso Gatto Prize and recognized by the Peruvian Book Chamber, it is a pleasure to speak with her today about these topics and about her research on Tacna, the border region between Peru and Chile. Thanks to Carmen Ollé for making this conversation possible.
