モントリオールは、ケベック州というフランス語圏にある都市です。

ケベック州の公用語がフランス語であるため、モントリオールの公用語ももちろんフランス語です。

とは言え、英語を話す人も少数ながらいます。

ですが、ケベック州では、英語を話すか、フランス語を話すかで生活が大きく変わります。
