But beware, there are drawbacks to contacting past exes and also to talking to the newest ex supply. However in the best cases, you can get some validation. Hi fellow escapees! Today I want to talk about trust, because so many viewers have commented that they want to know how to trust again. After all the abuse we endured from the narcissist, we still want to be able to trust again. That’s because we are wired for relationship and relationship requires trust. The narcissist or abuser destroys our trust in others as well as our trust in ourselves (our ability to trust our own judgement). And this will affect our future relationships! So, how do we trust again? We learn from our experience with the narcissist. Don’t waste the lessons. Looking back we can learn what their ploys were, so we can identify others who aren’t worthy of our trust, and we can identify our vulnerabilities. That is what will help us from falling for the ploys of other abusers. We will be able to identify who we can trust and who we can’t. And we will be able to trust our own judgement again!

Hi fellow escapees! Today I want to talk about what it’s like living with a narcissist. At first the supply can’t wait to move in together as the narc insists how amazing it will be. But little by little, the supply’s world becomes darker and darker. They won’t know what hit them until they are either suddenly discarded or they have no self esteem left and can’t muster the strength to leave. If you never had to live with a narcissist, be thankful that you dodged the 24/7 abuse cycle.
