A violent and dangerous teenager who threatened a woman with a gun as he stole her car has been sent to prison for four years after officers tracked him down just a day after the incident.

Yousaf Ejaz, aged 18, arranged to meet the woman in Birmingham to test drive the car she was selling online on 27 December last year

But after driving the car poorly for a short distance, she asked him to stop.

A man has been jailed for 42 months after he assaulted a woman, leaving her with a fractured jaw.

Karl Waller-Adams, aged 33 years, assaulted his victim at an address in the Shanklin area of Hampshire on Sunday 29th November 2020.

The horrific incident was reported to Hampshire Police on 18th December after the victim, a woman in her 40s, found the courage to tell medical staff what had caused her horrific injuries.

Despite what you might hear in some sections of the mainstream media, the UK's 122,000-or-so police officers were disgusted by the prospect that one of their own could be responsible for the death of Ms Everard. 

As the court case is on-going, I can say little more about the person currently sitting in a cell as the case against him is put together. 

During my ten years of service in the Met Police on a 999 response team, I lost count of the number of calls that my team and I responded to in east London, which involved reports of violence against women.

A woman from London has been sentenced after attempting to defraud her insurer through a fraudulent life insurance claim worth £397,153.

Thuile Bhebhe, 51, reported that her husband had died in Zimbabwe in August 2016, submitting false documents to her insurer, Aviva, to substantiate her claim. 

Discrepancies in the paperwork submitted by Mrs Bhebhe raised the insurance company’s suspicions, leading them to carry out further queries into the case.

The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has deleted a tweet that condemned the Metropolitan Police following the events which unfolded on Clapham Common over the weekend. 

'Reclaim These Streets' intended to hold a candlelit vigil for Sarah Everard after her body was found in woodland several days after she disappeared.

The Attorney General has issued a warning to the media regarding its coverage of Sarah Everard's disappearance. 

Ms Everard, from Brixton, was last seen alive on March 3, as she made her way home from a friend’s house in Clapham.

She was captured on a doorbell camera at around 9 pm walking along the A205 Poynders Road towards Tulse Hill.

The Met Police has released a statement after four people were arrested for public order offences and at least one police vehicle was damaged in Clapham Common last night (13th March).

 'Reclaim These Streets' had intended on holding a peaceful vigil following the tragic death of Sarah Everard, who went missing while walking home across Clapham Common earlier this month. 

She was found dead in woodland in Kent. 

During the unrest in Clapham Common, one female police officer was assaulted after allegedly being told that she was a ‘disgrace to females’ and a ‘murderer’.

The Metropolitan Police officer charged with the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard has been remanded into custody.

PC Wayne Couzens, 48, was arrested at his home in Deal, Kent, on Tuesday, some 50 miles from where the 33-year-old marketing executive disappeared in south London.

The authorised firearms officer, who works in the Met's Diplomatic Protection Group (DPG), arrived at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in a large blue police armoured police van from HMP Wandsworth.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are continuing to appeal for information concerning the violent robbery of a pregnant woman, who sadly suffered a miscarriage shortly after the attack.

On Wednesday, 29 July 2020, between about 14:30hrs and 15:00hrs, the victim was waiting at a bus stop in Cambridge Park, Wanstead.

A thief who stole a hard-working nurses car was caught after using the nurses' stolen card to buy himself a brand new widescreen TV.

Anthony Parkin is now behind bars after taking the stolen white Nissan Qashqai on a 'joy ride' before deciding to stop off at a Sainsbury's store in Sunderland. 

But the morally corrupt thief's spending spree was soon halted after a member of staff at the stores Argos kiosk spotted that the card being used by Parkin was registered to a woman.
