CleanTech Lithium are developing three assets within the ‘Lithium Triangle’ in Chile and are targeting first production by 2024/25. The Lithium Triangle of Chile, Bolivia and Argentina is thought to hold some 50 million tonnes of lithium and CleanTech are setting about increasing this with additional resources from their lithium brine projects.

CleanTech will employ Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) techniques across their portfolio. Dr Boitano provides a fascinating overview of DLE efficiencies and the ESG characteristics of DLE lithium production methods.
