Ethiopia is on the cusp of a devastating civil war. While the world has been obsessing over the U.S election, the Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed launched a military campaign against the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, (TPLF), which is the group that controls the Tigray region in Northern Ethiopia.

A conflict in Ethiopia would be a complete nightmare. Ethiopia is the 12th largest country in the world with a population of 110 million people. The war could start a massive refuges crises and destabilize the Horn of Africa.
