Social media has been around for awhile... it's meant for communicating, meeting new people, posting for fun, but why has it become so serious to the point where we feel the need to have a 'perfect social media' image. In today's episode, I'm going to be talking about my experience and relationship with social media & how it has changed over the past few years!

With this weeks episode I want to bring to you a *slightly* controversial topic. Well, the topic itself isn't, but the way people view it is. I'm here to remind you that changing your mind doesn't mean you're indecisive or a hypocrite, it's just a sign of having an open mind (gaining knowledge, new information, etc)! So, let's break down of why people automatically view this negatively...

As humans we need a little friendly reminder to be at ease and everything is going to be okay. If you're currently struggling with being hard on yourself or being comfortable this is for you. Sometimes all we need is a little reminder :)
As we come to the end of the year I feel like there is always this one thing that everyone talks about and that my friends is new year's resolutions. We all know that most create a load of goals to make themselves "feel better" or they're just trying to accomplish so many things? Do all of these goals/plans get achieved? Or do they actually set you up for failure?
* also, I apologize for background noise that involved the mic and cord :)
Recently, I just got out of a funk and for me this always happens when I get overstimulated... It doesn't put me in a good headspace at all and instead just makes me feel very negative, slumped, and tired. I know I'm not the only one who goes through this and questions 'why does this happen?' So I hope this episode helps you for the next time you're in a funk or just experiencing an "off-week" :)

So I know we all procrastinate & you know what, this was a contributing factor to me not having an episode until now. I thought why not make an episode and go into all of the nitty gritty details of why we all (as a society) tend to consistently repeat this trend. Once you realize that there's a root to the problem then you can easily tackle the specifics right? Well, not always which is extremely frustrating because you go on trying to break this cycle, but you end up nowhere & that's why I decided to sit down and talk about this today. I know this was long, but I hope you enjoy it and if you're reading this or simply listening to the episode, thank you so much!
