For a lot of us, the hopes of our kids returning to school at the end of summer quickly turned into a scramble of us trying to figure out how we were going to deal with kids learning remotely. For many, either schools remain closed, or for safety reasons, the decision was made to keep children at home.

My wife and I are there. She's pregnant, and we didn't feel it was worth the risk to send our kids back yet. 

Kysta Wallrauch has been homeschooling her kids from the beginning. Not the beginning of COVID. The beginning of their schooling! I knew she'd have some tips and insights to offer and it's been a pleasure to interview her for this episode of the podcast.

How many times have you heard it said or even said it yourself?

"2020... the lost year."

We've seen just about everything that can be thrown at us this year, because a global pandemic wasn't enough, apparently!

With everything that's happened, it's really easy to be discouraged. I want to encourage you to change that narrative. I want to encourage you to accept what is and find a way to accomplish great things regardless of what's going on, "out there."

Organic reach is dead!

That's what we hear being proclaimed all over the various social platforms. That if you want to get your message in front of more people you're going to have to pay. Boosted posts. Sponsored posts. Paid placement.

YouTube is good for more than just crazy cat videos... I know this will come as a shocker to some. :)

Fact of the matter is, YouTube is the second largest search engine on the internet, and it's a really great source for marketing your voice over services.
