This week Claire and Steph got to talk to the man, the myth, the legend, @sharkcookie. David is well-known for photographing dancers and has made quite the career doing it. Photographing dancers isn’t easy, but David sure does makes it look that that. Claire and Steph played a new game called “Snap or Scrap” and got to talk to David about how got into his current career path. Claire and Steph have tried to mimic the poses in his photos for years and they are so happy they got to know more about the man behind the camera.

Not many people can say that they’ve actually thrown at drink at someone, let alone on national television, but Christi Lukasiak can. Christi is most-known for being everyone’s favorite dance mom on Dance Moms but Claire and Steph know her as being the most influential one. Christi shared with their listeners some tips about finding confidence within themselves, dealing with negativity, and other advice that she’d share with her two girls. Claire and Steph are so lucky enough that Christi agreed to be on the show at SDT Greek Grind because this episode fulfilled a childhood dream of theirs.

This week everybody’s favorite mean girl on television, Sam Grecchi, came on the podcast to chat with Claire and Steph. Sam shows that she truly has a heart of gold, in contrast to her character “Stephanie”, in a situation game where she shows how she navigates through being a studio owner. Sam also discussed how easy it was for her to land her role In The Next Step and how she’s trying to further continue her career while owning a studio. Claire and Steph are thankful that Sam was able to share her experiences and how she’s navigating continuing to find success within the industry because Sam has been such an inspiration in their lives.

“you have to start thinking of yourself as the main character” Steph and Claire can both agree that Victoria Baldesarra truly is the main character, especially in their lives. Victoria is an actress from Canada who is well known for her role as Michelle in the show The Next Step, but there’s more to Victoria than just being captain of A-troupe. In true Steph and Claire fashion, they played a few games with Victoria where they reminisced on their funniest childhood memories, talked more Canadianisms, and got to know how Victoria got started in the television industry. Victoria is so incredible and Claire and Steph hope you all enjoy this weeks episode!!

Claire and Steph interviewed Hayden Hopkins, which was so special to them because they've looked up to her ever since the day their young selves discovered her dances on youtube and instagram. Hayden is known for her flawless technique and went to Marymount Manhattan before getting a message on Facebook asking if she'd be interested in being apart of Cirque du Soleil. The three of them discussed what it’s like to be a dance major and were able to share a lot of similar experiences despite being apart of very different programs. Hayden truly is the most amazing person ever and they are both so lucky to have been able to get some helpful advice from her.

This week Claire and Steph bought their special guest, Ezra Sosa, a first class ticket on the hot tamale train to come and be a guest star on this weeks podcast. Ezra Sosa was on Season 16 of So You Think Can Dance, and he won the crowd over with his outgoing personality and legendary ballroom training. To get to know more about Ezra and how he’s gotten to be so successful at such a young age, Claire and Steph asked him some questions about the industry and even played a game of Would You Rather: Dance Edition. Up next to the stage we have number 7, titled, My Dance Mom and Yours. Everybody’s favorite dance mom, Melissa Gisoni, joins Claire and Steph to talk about life after being on a hit reality TV show. Melissa opened up to them about being the mom of two successful girls in the industry, and gave some insight about different ways to stay humble and kind especially with having a large following. They all got deep about dance, life, and even played an icebreaker game. They are so thankful that they were able to interview someone who has been an inspiration to them for such a long time.

Claire and Steph spent most of last week on Instagram messaging many celebrities, and Jennie Pappas was the first to express interest in their show. You may have seen Jennie either on the Canadian television show The Next Step or on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, assisting many renowned choreographers. They had the pleasure of meeting with Jennie on Zoom to play a few games, as well as talking about what it's like to start branding yourself as a dancer and choreographer within the industry. In this week's episode, Jennie provided a lot of great advice, and Claire and Steph hope to one day travel to Canada to get some Timmies and chat with her.

Collectively, we can all agree that 2020 sucked, but the podcast this week does not. Claire and Steph ring in the new year by talking about the highs and lows of a year that many would consider to be a shit show. Their followers needed the help and advice of Claire and Steph, and while they are great at giving advice, they are what many would consider as a Walmart version of a therapist.
