Long awaited and highly anticipated is the new the Industry Practice Brief Guidelines to Achieving a Compliant Query Practice©, scheduled to released Monday, Oct. 10.

The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS) have co-authored an update to the Industry Practice Brief Guidelines to Achieving a Compliant Query Practice©.

Many important elements have been updated and added to the practice brief to meet the demands of the ever-changing landscape of America’s healthcare ecosystem to help ensure all query professionals have the tools necessary to remain compliant. The practice brief was developed with many industry experts to ensure it is all encompassing. Reporting our lead story during the next live edition of Talk Ten Tuesdays will be Melissa Potts, a CDI practitioner of HIM Practice Excellence for AHIMA. She provides clinical documentation (CDI) practice expertise to AHIMA and its members.
