John Mutton was the mayor of Clarington from 2000-2006., after one term as Regional Councillor. In 2006 he lost his bid for 3rd term as mayor, but then made an effort to become the chair of the Region of Durham in 2018. John is a resident of Bowmanville and is the owner and CEO of Municipal Solutions. John has a unique perspective to share some context as we prepare for the 2022 municipal election in Clarington.

Chris Borgia is the NDP Candidate for Durham Riding. Chris hears the concerns of the people he is meeting at their door. He understands because he is living with the same challenges...it's personal and he wants to do something about it!

Chris Borgia embodies what most of us perceive to be the work of the New Democratic Party everyday. He is the President of the Durham Region Labour Council….no small feat with all of the construction, manufacturing and growth that is happening…..and he sits in key roles on the Ontario Federation of Labour Young Workers Committee and the Ontario Federation of Labour. He remains a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 353.

As the Candidate in Durham Riding for the NDP, he is looking to take your concerns to Queens Park after June 2 as your member of provincial parliament.

There is a set of crisp looking signs dotting our Durham Riding communities now that might as well say ‘Who?’ even though they show our guests name. There is no party because there is no party. They only show the name of Tony Stravato.

Tony is an independent candidate to represent Durham Riding at Queens Park. Tony has been involved with the struggles with the current and previous governments on the Autism file because he has two sons who have Autism. He knows how challenging it has been so he knows that your issues with education, childcare etc have been just as challenging and he wants to work for you. His bio says that as an independent, he “can work with any government that’s in power to ensure that Durham riding residents get a fair chance at supports and services whilemaintaining fiscal responsibility. I’ll always make sure the Durham riding has a seat at the tableand my door will ALWAYS be open.”
