Of the many strange encounters in the world of the paranormal that we discuss on this show, there are often those that serve to be particularly strange and unusual. Among these bizarre accounts are tales from all over of what appears to be some sort of thin, pale beings, often hunched over, crouching, and crawling, that have come to be collectively known as “Pale Crawlers,” and which are every bit as creepy as you might imagine. On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off talking about the new version of Coming to America! Then they get into some strange news stories including someone who thinks they saw or rather heard some wood devils! Then a soldier on guard duty with a few other soldiers have an encounter with a few large hairy beasts in the woods who dislike litterbugs!

After the break, Kyle brings up the strange phenomenon commonly known as SLI. The phenomenon that is known as Street Light Interference, or SLI, is possibly a psychic event that is just beginning to be recognized and studied. Like most phenomena of this type, the evidence is almost exclusively anecdotal. Typically, a person who has this effect on streetlights -- known as a SLIder -- finds that the light switches on or off when he or she walks or drives beneath it. Obviously, this could happen occasionally by chance with a faulty streetlight (you've probably noticed that it's happened to you once in a while), but SLIders claim that it happens to them on a regular basis. It doesn't happen every time with every streetlight, but it occurs often enough to make these people suspect that something unusual is going on. What causes this phenomenon? Can it be learned?

After the break Cam tells the strange story about the lost Amber Room! During WWII, Hitler’s Nazis stole some 600,000 pieces of art from across Europe. By the end of the war, billions of pounds worth of artwork had been scattered to the four winds, the Nazi looting had been on an industrial scale. Whilst some pieces of stolen art have been returned to their rightful owners, many are still missing, including a priceless collection of stunning amber panels, known as the Amber Room - perhaps the most valuable items ever looted by the fascist regime. The room was called the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ and one of Russia’s most treasured artifacts. After its looting, the room was returned to Germany and put on display, but it disappeared in the closing months of the war. Its fate is one of the greatest mysteries of WWII.

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about some books they have been recently reading including Lyle Blackburn's new book Sinister Swamps. Then, a firefighter writes in to the show with a black triangle sighting that took place near Shreveport, Louisiana back in 2007-2008. It was described as having  three solid white lights on the corner or points of the triangle and one blinking red light directly in the center on one side which they believed was the rear of the craft. Then, a strange sighting in St. Petersburg, Florida back in 1957 of what can only be described as a flying reddish-white Manta Ray!
