Today on the program are Equity Research Analysts Evan Zehnal and Vishal Chopra.  They discuss how technology and A-I are moving the markets right now and what that could mean for Canada and the U.S. Vishal, whose coverage includes Canadian technology and healthcare, explains that IT services have experienced elevated flows with regards to earnings. Evan, who covers U.S. software, cybersecurity and internet, says that this year’s market story has largely been one of consumer resilience, but that companies are still trimming their budgets to get leaner in anticipation of a recession. Vishal and Evan speak to host Bryan Borzykowski and explain that with rising interest rates companies are looking to grow at a slower and more sustainable rate and are paying attention to things like near term cash flows as opposed to growth duration.
