All eyes have been on the 2023 matric results this week. We congratulate those who have managed to achieve their educational goals, but we also have been supporting those learners who didnt do as well as they had hoped. As the learners embark on different journeys of higher education, matric second chances and perhaps some will be looking for employment straight away, we wish them well on their endevours as they enter the big world. Let us reflect on the education system and take a look at whether it has prepared matriculants for the possibilities of the future and the real waorld.
