There will be three major SEC opponents before Christmas. Add in three games in Las Vegas, two against major Big XII opponents with millions of dollars on the line, three games at the World's Most Famous Arena and all that before you get into the round robin of the Big East schedule. Rick Pitino in year 3 has loaded up, more so than any other St. John's team will have faced previously. All to be ready for conference play and well beyond, so that they won't be one and done in the NCAA Tournament again.
We break down the schedule, the opponents, the predictions and the road ahead.

Four triples in a row from virtually the same spot, Hancock was a deadly weapon for Rick Pitino. Now as he covers the ACC for ESPN, he's the perfect guest to talk St. John's as they've added two major pieces from the conference in Ian Jackson and Oziyah Sellers.
We discuss his career, playing for Rick Pitino, how the ACC guys will translate to the Big East and what they are in for under Coach P's tutelage, how to deal with expectations, what these summer works outs are like for players under coach Pitino and more from someone that knows better than anyone

Excited to welcome on two warriors for St. John's who went on to have very interesting professional careers. Their journey in Queens had many layers but in year 1 they were part of one of the best recruiting classes in St. John's history. Two of the core of the Freshmen Five under Steve Lavin. We talk about those first two years, the special moments, from Playing in Duke, Amir's winner against Notre Dame, Phil Greene in Syracuse and beyond. How their professional careers took shape with success in Europe for Greene, chasing the NBA, to leaving basketball and pursuing baseball for Amir. We weave through their careers together as two key members of memorable teams who took different paths to success.

Rick Pitino and St. Johns added a dynamic freshmen to an ultra talented group this season. Coach Pitino wasn't shy about saying they probably weren't going to recruit high school kids but Kelvin Odih clearly has the skillset that this staff is looking for. A top 75 recruit, who was once committed to West Virginia, Odih had a long list of suitors. We talk to the incoming freshmen about why he chose St. John's, what he's working on this summer, his mindset over the next few years in Queens and so much more.

It was a busy week in Queens as St. John's followed up the splash of Ian Jackson with adding Imran Suljanovic, Dillon Mitchell and Dylan Darling. Shooting, defense, and a point guard, all positions and places of need for the Red Storm - and they addressed each one. It's the #1 Portal Class in the country at the moment as Rick Pitino has built an absolute juggernaut for year 3. I'm joined by Zach Braziller of the NY Post to discuss the three new pieces, how they fit, what they bring to the table and how exciting this roster is turning out to be.

Rick Pitino is assembling one of the top transfer portal haul's in college basketball for a second straight off-season. Joined by Kevin Connelly of StormThePaint.com we discuss the major addition of Ian Jackson, what he brings to St. John's, can he play point guard and so much more. With two big time players already added, a busy 10 days in Queens saw St. John's get commitments from sharpshooter Stanford transfer Oziyah Sellers and New York native and McDonalds All-American Ian Jackson.
The emphasis on reshaping the St. John's offense is apparent as Coach Pitino and the staff have loaded up with fire power. Jackson and Sellers are both elite three point shooters who should compliment each other well on the floor. Adding them with Joson Sanon and Bryce Hopkins gives St. John's a lot to work with especially when you add in First Team All-Big East member, captain Zuby Ejiofor.
Discussing the additions, plus the departures and rumors, plus what else is on the horizon this offseason and more!
