Nine days after a sudden end to a historic season, St. John's has wasted no time in revamping its roster adding Joson Sanon from Arizona State and now Bryce Hopkins from Providence. • Episode 154: Arkansas Ends St. John's Season, Joson Sanon Commits to Red Storm

It was the worst time to have your worst offensive performance of the season, but that's what happened in Providence on Saturday when the Red Storm couldn't buy a bucket. St. John's cold shooting reared it's ugly head as Arkansas' length and size caused a lot of issues for the Rick Pitino's group. Kadary Richmond fouled out, RJ Luis Jr. was benched and Zuby Ejiofor's solo strong performance wasn't enough as a historic season comes to an abrupt end thanks to John Calipari and his 10 seed Razorbacks.

I reflect on the loss, the decisions made, and this season.

But the season never ends as St. John's makes it's first splash of the off-season in Joson Sanon transfer from Arizona State!

  • Episode 153: St. John's Throttles Omaha 83-53 in Round 1 of NCAA Tournament

For the first time in 25 years, St. John's has won a game in the NCAA Tournament. The Red Storm left no doubt in Providence as they dismantled the Omaha Mavericks by 30 points. It was a statement made, a testament to their defense and the fact that Omaha dared St. John's to shoot threes. They just didn't account for the Johnnies to make a program record 14 in the NCAA Tournament. Thanks to a huge night from Big East Player of the Year RJ Luis Jr. the Johnnies now have their sights set on Arkansas on Saturday.

Joined by Kevin Connelly of StormThePaint.com - We preview the matchup between John Calipari and Rick Pitino and what's in store as the HOF'ers bring their teams to the second round.

  • Episode 150: St. John's Wins The Big East Tournament

The dream season continues. For the first time in 25 years, St. John's has won the Big East Tournament. An incredible show of resiliency and fight to beat Butler, Marquette and Creighton in three straight days. This team proved to be tough, proved that their style can carry them through these tournament settings. Behind an incredible performance from RJ Luis Jr. on Saturday night, anchored by Zuby Ejiofor and Kadary Richmond, the nets were finally cut down. Rick Pitino promised St. John's would be back, he guaranteed it...he was right.

St. John's are double champs, the conference, the tournament.

  • Episode 149: Deja-ZU, St. John's Beats Marquette 86-84 in OT + Big East Tournament Preview

He did it AGAIN. A mini floater as time expired just like in Providence on December 20th, except this time it was to end the season with a bang. Zuby Ejifor poured in 17 points, none bigger than his last two to help St. John's tie a program record 27 regular season wins. RJ Luis Jr. powered the Johnnies with 28 points making one last statement for his Big East Player of the Year case as St. John's sweeps the season series with Marquette.

Now the best conference tournament is upon us as Wednesday starts the Big East Tournament. St. John's will have the #1 seed and play the winner of Providence vs Butler on Thursday at noon. Frank and Dave preview the tournament ahead and what fans should expect at The World's Most Famous arena as we gear up for Selection Sunday!

  • Episode 148: St. John's Wins Big East Conference

It's a day that will go down in history, a day that will earn St. John's a long awaited banner to hang in Queens. For the first time in 40 years, St. John's are kings of the Big East conference all by their lonesome. In an ugly game inside the World's Most Famous Arena, St. John's would get the season sweep of Seton Hall with a 71-61 win. RJ Luis Jr. and Zuby Ejifor had big games scoring 41 of the Red Storm's 71 points leading them to their 26th win of the season, and 17th in conference.

In this special episode I bring on fans from every generation, some that have been rooting for St. John's from over 40 years, and some that are just getting started. Hearing their stories, and what Sunday's win means to everyone individually, as we collectively embrace this historic moment.

Thank you to Jim Shannon, Robert Gunther, Will Hallett, John McHale, Ryan Patrick Woerner, Jason Dimaio, and Andrew Schirripa for joining to share their stories and what this win meant to them.

  • Episode 146: Pitino: Red Storm Rising with Tom Farrell

When St. John's fans found out cameras would be following Rick Pitino's year 2 St. John's team they were excited. When the Red Storm started having a season that made everyone's eyebrows raise, anticipation rose. But as a ranked St. John's team beat ranked Marquette and UConn in early February back-to-back the debut episode of Pitino: Red Storm Rising on Vice on February 11th couldn't come fast enough.

Joining the podcast is the man behind the docu-series that is making waves all over social media and beyond, CEO and EP of The Workshop, Tom Farrell.

We discuss the genesis of the series, what it's been like capturing so many amazing moments during an unprecedented run by St. John's, and what it's been like being the fly on the wall of a Rick Pitino coached team.
