Welcome to Eyes & Teeth A Touch of Magic
Todays guest is Mandy Muden a fantastic Comedy Magician well known in our industry for her wacky ways and witty magic wand.
Mandy fought her way through the comedy clubs to overcome the stigma over female comedy performers and it only made her stronger which has taken her from Wimbledon to Live Television and Pantomime to World Cruises.
Mandy’s story is worth the wait as we talk about BGT, Paul Zerdin, Fay Presto, Cruise Ship Audiences, Stage Technicians and much more on E&T with Mandy Muden
Ben Nickless
One of the top variety acts in theatre these days Ben is fresh and original and yes he’s an impressionist but he’s also an all rounder, I guess he does a bit of it all but his impressions are a massive part of his performance so much so Gary Barlow & Take That took notice of him.
The Sun Newspaper says Ben Nickless is incredible and his variety of impressions are as spellbinding as they are funny.
Ben Nickless is as natural on stage as it gets, combining easy charm and likeability with killer impressions.

Welcome to Eyes & Teeth Ben Nickless
Steve Womack is a fairly new discovery for me which is a shame as I would love to have seen him more over the years. I’ve only seen him work once but that once we got to share a week together flying to and joining a cruise ship. These jobs really help you get to know people in a short amount of time and then you don’t see them again and you know what I haven’t seen Steve since that cruise. That’s the nature of our job. But that also means that when we did hook up on this podcast we rekindled that distance in time and caught up like it was last week we cruised together and that’s the beauty of people in this business.
Steve is a magical talent, he does not perform any magic but if you know his work you know there is a touch of magic in his work and that’s why we are talking today.
We talk about when he was Deported for murder, Bonnie Tyler, Cliff Richard, Cruising the world, recording albums and making people laugh whilst keeping healthy and so much more, why spoilt it, let the man himself tell you all about STEVE WOMACK
Welcome to another edition of Eyes & Teeth in A Touch of Magic.
In this episode I do get to talk magic with one of the best in the industry and that’s Phil Hitchcock.
I’m fascinated with magic, illusions and tricksters of the mind and want this season to add that mystique and wonderment and today Phil who is a complete gent shares his stories of his idols and career that although is in his 3rd decade is also still growing successfully.
We talk about Sir Ken Dodd, Billy Pearce, Paul Daniels, Lance Burton, Ronn Lucas, Guy Barrett, Richard Griffin, Russ Stevens and Britain’s Got Talent, Shane Ritchie, The London Palladium, Siegfried and Roy and more on this episode with Phil Hitchcock
Welcome to Eyes & teeth Season 10 episode 3 already and in this edition I talk on zoom as it is my first ever double interview with a brilliant and original comedy act who share their origins with me and their inspirations and its fab to work with them anytime. On this chat we talk BGT, Jason Manford and the London Palladium, Edinburgh Festival, basically a success story that keeps on giving and whether there will be more in the future for the hilarious comedy partnership.
Welcome to E&T Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue
Member of the Magic Circle Roy Charles is one of the most sought after Comedy Magicians on the circuit and guaranteed to raise tears of laughter. I first encountered Roy when I started to roadie for a ventriloquist back in the 1990’s. Roy & I ended up working together in clubs and variety shows and its always a pleasure watching him work. Its fab to hear his stories that I’ve never heard before and you can hear on this episode about where Roy started out, we talk about Crisco, Ray Charles, Ray Alan & Lord Charles, Tommy Cooper, Butlins, The 1987 UK Storm, Charlie Drake, Sky Star Search, sinking Cruise Ships and more.
Welcome to Season 10 episode 2 of Eyes & Teeth and a Touch of Magic
This is a New year Bumper Special meaning, it's a longer version than usual and I'm excited to get back in touch with my first guest as I haven't seen him for 23 years
Crisco comedy Magician and hilarious entertainer is not only a brilliant comedy legend but we find out that the man behind the act is a giving and generous soul who goes out of his way to help others. This doesn't take away the stories he lived through and on this chat we hear some very funny ones indeed. Crisco toured theatres as support, he entertained millions over decades based on the Isle of Wight, he always returned there and we talk over the phone and he and his wife Christine try and remember great moments from their time on stage together from their home on the island.

Michael Aspel OBE, the Voice of This is Your Life, TV Variety and Chat Shows joins me for the final edition in season 9 Voices of Variety.
In todays episode we talk about his Morecambe and Wise days, Radio and TV work and about our first meeting in Brighton brought together via a talking piece of wood worth over £40,000
There’s chat about Tony Hancock, Kenny Everett, Ken Dodd, Barry Cryer, Max Miller and much more including that infamous interview with the late fine actor Oliver Reed.
If there’s anything I love about this business it’s the connections we all have and make along the way and to be a patron alongside such an esteemed gentleman is an honour.
I hope you enjoy this very special episode with Michael Aspel OBE
Adam Daye had a lovely start to his career knocking on the door and taking mail to the Delfont family at the Palace theatre in London to treading the boards at Butlins where he started his impressions at Minehead. Taking on his TV debut in Who do you do.

Simon Cartwright is an extraordinary actor/performer, he does something wonderful for fans of certain comedy icons such as Frankie Howard & Bob Monkhouse, he brings them back to life with his 100% portrayals, he doesn’t just try their voice he lives and breathes their mannerisms and facial expressions, I mean extraordinary is an understatement.
I'll leave the conversation to the man himself
Welcome to Eyes and Teeth edition 116 Simon Cartwright
