A central theme of the ongoing chaos is the bold moves by former President Donald Trump, whose policies and decisions appear to be more akin to a board game rather than a strategy impacting millions of lives.

Simultaneously, Black culture and voices are navigating their space within this whirlwind. Recently, a story unraveled around Jack Harlow, a white rapper whose claims of getting “blacker” fueled controversy. His attempt to dive deeper into Black music while sidestepping critical cultural nuances underscores the lingering complexities of cultural appropriation and authenticity. It sparked conversations about the presence—or absence—of Black voices in spaces where they should matter most.
