Fairytale or FairyTail? Are you fascinated by the myth and mystery of mermaids? Yeah, me too! Many cultures over the centuries have told captivating stories of beautiful aquatic beings that resemble humans, living in harmony with the ocean. As enigmatic creatures, they’ve become synonymous with fantasy, by embodying both beauty and danger while sparking our collective imagination. Tonight's story The Golden Mermaid has been attributed to the Brothers Grimm but found in Andrew Lang's Fairy Tales.
I hope it makes you very Fairy Sleepy! Until next time, goodnight!

Would you answer a Sphinx if she asked you a question?
Centuries of myth, legends, and secrets surround the Sphinx. Ancient Egyptian sects, Greek poetry, and believers of their stories have passed those stories down through generations. The Banished King is by Frank R. Stockton, who also wrote the story of The Lady or the Tiger from the last season of Fairy Sleepy. There are always nuggets of wisdom in his stories plus cool creatures, and I hope tonight's story makes you very Fairy Sleepy! Until next time, goodnight!

Happy New Year! The first story of the year is The Dragon of the North found in Andrew Lang's Yellow Fairy Book. The story involves a Dragon. Shocker, right?! However,  there are other tales of lore to be found here, including the mythical King Solomon's Ring. It's like a mashup of fairy tales and lore; what could be a better way to start 2023? I hope it makes you very Fairy Sleepy! Until next time, goodnight!

I hope The Golden Goose makes you all as sleepy as eating turkey does! Thank you for listening to tonight's story, The Golden Goose, by the Brothers Grimm. While technically not a traditional Thanksgiving story, there are some themes of giving, sharing, and helping out those in need, plus a lot of food!
