Homeschooling isn’t just an educational choice — it’s a calling, a lifestyle, and a pathway to raising children who thrive in mind, heart, and spirit. In this episode, I sit down with Kristina Heagh‑Avritt, founder of Vibrant Family Education and co‑host of the Bringing Education Home podcast. With over 30 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and family development, Kristina has helped countless parents create joyful, values‑based learning environments where their children can grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
After nearly three decades in traditional classrooms, Kristina saw firsthand how overcrowding, rigid policies, and “teach‑to‑the‑test” systems limited a child’s true potential. Her turning point came during the pandemic, when she realized her greatest impact wasn’t inside the classroom — it was in empowering parents to lead their children’s learning with creativity, connection, and freedom.
Today, Kristina teaches families how to reimagine education at home through hands‑on learning, real‑life experiences, and timeless values like compassion, integrity, and resilience. Her heart is to help parents build deeper relationships with their children while honoring each child’s unique learning style.
✨ If you’re a homeschooling parent, a new homeschooler, or someone exploring alternative education, this conversation will bless you.
If this podcast encourages you, teaches you, or helps you feel less alone on your homeschooling or purpose journey, I want to invite you to partner with the mission. In this episode, we’re diving into a topic that so many people are curious about, confused about, or even a little afraid of — AI.
Some think it’s replacing creativity.
Some think it’s dangerous.
Some think it’s cheating.
And others are using it every day without even realizing it.
But here’s the truth:
AI is simply a tool — nothing more, nothing less.
Just like calculators, Google, or the internet. It doesn’t replace your God-given gifts. It doesn’t replace the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t replace your purpose. It simply helps you build, learn, and create with more clarity and confidence.
In this episode, we break down:
This episode will help you understand AI without fear, confusion, or overwhelm — and show you how to use it as a tool to accelerate what God already placed inside you.

In this episode, you’ll hear the extraordinary testimony of Irene Vaksberg — a living, breathing reminder of what God can do when everything in life seems shattered beyond repair.
Born outside the U.S. and brought here as a child, Irene grew up facing bullying, rejection, and the pressure to fit in. She built a beautiful life for herself a career as a hairstylist, a husband, and children. But everything changed the day she was involved in a devastating accident that brought her face‑to‑face with God Himself. In that moment, He told her she had to return… her children still needed her.
What followed was a season she never expected: confusion, divorce, rebuilding, a thriving salon, and then another life‑altering car accident that shook her physically, mentally, and spiritually. She lost everything — her business, her stability, her identity. For six long years, she prayed for God to take her home. Doctors told her there was nothing more they could do. She felt empty, broken, and done.
But God wasn’t done.
A miracle found her — a simple patch that began to calm the shaking in her body, lift the pain, and restore her strength. She became part of a medical study because her healing was so profound. Her life was transformed from the inside out, and today she is on a mission to help others encounter the same God who rescued her.
This is a story of survival, surrender, supernatural healing, and purpose. This is what happens when God steps into the middle of your storm.
If you are struggling, you can find Irene Vaksberg on Facebook, Instagram, and youtube. I encourage you to reach out to her for information.

With Mental Health Awareness Month approaching, today’s episode could not be more timely — or more needed. I had the honor of sitting down with Erica Allen, the host of The Golden Child Podcast and the founder of Redeeming Legacy Counseling, and her story is one that will stay with you long after the episode ends.
Erica went from dreaming of becoming a movie director in high school to becoming a counselor, podcaster, and coach who helps people overcome trauma, protect their peace, and live with intention. She is a fierce advocate for mental health, a woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, and someone who truly embodies the hands and feet of Jesus. Through her work, she helps people find their voice, break free from cycles of pain, and step into the truth that they do have purpose.
One of my favorite things she said in this episode was:
“Be selfish with your mental health. Don’t stay trapped. Protect your peace.”
It’s simple, powerful, and exactly what so many people need to hear.
Erica’s heart for people is undeniable. She leads with compassion, truth, and boldness — guiding others to experience God’s love in real, practical ways. And if you’ve ever felt like the “black sheep” of your family, Erica has a message for you:
“You’re not the black sheep — you’re the golden child.”

Welcome back to the Faith, Purpose & Freedom Podcast the space where faith meets real life, real healing, real entrepreneurship, and real transformation. I’m Kayla: a mom of six, a woman rebuilt by grace, and someone who learned that when you hit rock bottom… the Rock at the bottom is Jesus.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing the heart behind my website, my blog, this podcast, and the entire Faith, Purpose & Freedom movement. None of this was built from strategy, it was built from surrender.
I open up about the valley seasons, the awakening that followed, and how God rebuilt my identity before He rebuilt my circumstances. I talk about discovering my gifts, learning new skills, and building a business with nothing but hunger, purpose, and God’s guidance.
Now, I help others do the same people who feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed, or called but unsure where to begin. I help you step into the purpose God already placed inside you.
If you’re listening today and you feel behind, forgotten, or unqualified… you’re not. God is not done with your story. He’s just getting started.
Thank you for being part of this movement — for rising in faith, purpose, and freedom.

Let’s build what Heaven has already written.
In this episode, I sat down with the unstoppable Kat Minks, a woman who grew up knowing struggle, poverty, and hardship far too well… yet refused to let any of it define her future.
From a young age, Kat carried big dreams in her heart. Even when people told her she couldn’t, even when the odds were stacked against her, she knew she would find a way. And she did.

Straight out of high school, she left Minnesota and moved to Los Angeles, chasing the life she felt called to. There, she became an event planner and birthed Adore Productions, building a career many only dream of. She got married, built a beautiful life, and seemed to have it all until everything fell apart. Divorce hit. Life hit. And she found herself back in Minnesota, starting over from scratch.
But Kat is a fighter.
A visionary.
A woman who refuses to settle.
She rebuilt her career piece by piece. She met her now husband. They welcomed a son. And just six weeks after giving birth, she lost her job. Most people would have quit. Kat didn’t. Instead, she stepped deeper into her entrepreneurial calling with event planning.
She launched Adore Magazine, started her own podcast, and created a thriving women’s networking community, the Entrepreneur Collective empowering women to rise together and empower one another.
Through every twist, every setback, every closed door, Kat discovered something powerful:
God always had a better plan.
He always made a way.
And He always gave her the “backdoor VIP experience," the path she never expected but always needed.
Her story is raw, real, faith-filled, and overflowing with resilience.
If you’ve ever felt like life knocked you down… if you’ve ever had to start over… if you’ve ever wondered whether God still has a plan for you…
This episode will breathe hope back into your spirit.
Today’s episode is one that touched my heart in the deepest way. I had the honor of sitting down with Sheri Long who is a faith‑based teacher who became an entrepreneur, and woman who said “yes” to God even when the path looked like a roller coaster.
Sheri shared her journey of trusting God through every mountain, every valley, and every moment that required courage, obedience, and resilience. Her story is a testimony of what happens when you stay steadfast in your faith and allow God to lead your steps.
Sheri is now the owner of Sugar & Spice, a business with a Kingdom mission at its core. She hires foster youth, pours into them, teaches them strength, endurance, courage, and love — the same qualities she had to learn through her own battles. She is truly the hands and feet of Jesus, showing young people what it looks like to be seen, valued, and supported.
This conversation is full of purpose, healing, and God’s goodness.
What an honor it was to sit with her today.

In this inspiring episode of Faith, Purpose & Freedom, Kayla sits down with Michelle Steiner — a writer, speaker, photographer, para‑educator, and living testimony of what God can do when you refuse to let the world define you.
Michelle grew up being bullied, underestimated, and labeled because of her learning disability. Teachers, peers, and even professionals told her what she wouldn’t be able to do; that she wouldn’t go to college, wouldn’t earn a degree, wouldn’t have the career she dreamed of. But while the world tried to limit her, God never did.
Michelle shares how she chose to believe God’s voice over every doubt spoken over her life. She trusted that He had planted something bigger inside her - a purpose, a plan, and a future that no diagnosis could cancel.
Today, Michelle is:

In this powerful episode of Faith, Purpose & Freedom, Kayla sits down with Clestine I. Herbert who is an international speaker, author, and transformation coach to talk about purpose, identity, mindset, and the way God redirects our lives with precision..
Clestine shares how she spent eight years as an engineer, even though she knew deep down it wasn’t who she truly was. Two years into her career, she began a six‑year prayer asking God to reveal her purpose. And in God’s perfect timing, He answered in a way only He could.
After her company laid off 117 employees in four waves, Clestine was the only one laid off on October 27th… her birthday. What looked like loss became the doorway to destiny.
Today, she helps faith‑based women discover their purpose, renew their minds, and monetize the gifts God placed inside them. Her story is a reminder that:

This podcast is where faith meets awakening, scripture meets mindset, and personal transformation meets divine purpose. Partner with this podcast as we…
Hosted by Kayla Roth — a mother, minister, coach, and spiritual awakener, this space dives deep into the layers of identity, healing, and the unseen realm. Together, we explore what it means to renew your mind, break out of “reality addiction,” understand the spiritual energies and atmospheres around you, and walk boldly in the freedom God intended.
Here, we talk about the mystical side of scripture, the power of mindset, the truth behind spiritual awakening, and the journey of coming out of darkness into clarity. We explore auras, energy, discernment, and the spiritual experiences many people have but feel afraid to talk about. Nothing is off the table as long as it leads to truth, healing, and alignment with God.
But this podcast is also a home for stories, real stories of overcoming, testimonies of transformation, and the journeys of people who found purpose through their pain. We help listeners discover their niche, share their voice, and step into the calling God placed inside them. Whether your passion is faith, fishing, fitness, entrepreneurship, homeschooling, healing, or anything in between — your story matters, and your gifts can help others.
Each episode blends spiritual insight, practical tools, mindset renewal, and purpose activation.
