My Neighbor's a Vampire #3 is a super-sized double feature extravaganza! Bri and Leah discuss the original 1985 Fright Night (dir. Tom Holland) and the 2011 remake of the same name (dir. Craig Gillespie). Leah can't keep the 2011 date straight in her head, but the remake did, in fact, come out in 2011, not 2001 or 2008.
As per the content warning at the beginning of the episode, here's the timestamp for the part of the discussion you may want to skip --> 52:28 to 1:07:05
(This episode is marked explicit for some f-bombs and a description of a scene where Colin Farrell acts... excited.)

Bri and Leah go to town discussing Daybreakers (2009, dir. The Spierig Brothers). We had probably too much fun recording this episode. We were sober when we watched and recorded, so we can guarantee that no additional substances are needed for a good time; but if you'd like to take this party to another level, try our Daybreakers Drinking Game!

Bri and Leah enthusiastically talk about Park Chan-wook's foray into the vampire genre: Thirst (2009). We loved this film, so the episode ended up a little super-sized. Just a warning: this film deals with abuse and suicide, and we discuss both frankly.

This week, Bri and Leah dip their toes into the Young Adult (YA) vampire craze that defined the genre for almost a decade with Vampire Academy (dir. Mark Waters, 2014). Also, the audio should sound better this week! We upgraded some of our equipment for your listening pleasure.
