Watching the 220 Special by Vaughn Wilson was cathartic for some and frustrating for others but it was very informative. 

Also FAMU Baseball is working its way through the SWAC tournament while many of our Track Athletes are competing but look like the season is coming to an end for most of them.

FAMU Baseball has won the Eastern Division of the South Western Athletic Conference but all of the success that we have seen at FAMU also means that our best players may get plucked by those with more resources. 

In the midst of all the success comes the attention which is due successful programs.

Another FAMU Folley has embarrassed Rattler Nation and questions arise from multiple areas about what is leadership doing?

Leadership should come from the top but we have seen on multiple occasions that leadership comes in during times of crisis.

And the leadership we are seeing often in these times of crisis is not always unified. How can we fix FAMU?

In a week full of fumbled bags on the Highest of Seven Hills many FAMU supports have good reason to question the leadership at the university. 

Turning Down Millions of Dollars in guaranteed tens of Millions because you felt like you had Hundreds of Millions is definitely head scratching on multiple fronts. 

Also FAMU football loses a coach, Softball loses in the SWAC Tournament and FAMU Baseball seems to have given us hope of winning a SWAC title.

It has come really apparent that we quickly become experts in things that are very foreign to us.

But Millions of dollars aside, we have seen that FAMU is becoming a power in the SWAC in multiple sports.

The cries for FAMU to return to the MEAC seem to be less about simply not wanting FAMU in the conference and now seem to show a disdain for the program in general.

But it is easy to Bragg when you have gold around your waist.

After a $237 Million Dollar donation with 100 Million Earmarked the possibilities of what could be are endless.

But should also be targeted to meet the needs of the University.

We also saw a goodly amount of football commitments and FAMU Track helped us forget about losing the baseball season series to BCU.

The Basketball and Football programs have been able to get some commitments to the both programs, but the question of how committed we are this programs success could come into question from those that looking around at other programs.

Especially when you consider the amount of championships that have come in within these past few years.

The Transfer Portal has opened! 

Who will we be saying is a former Rattler and who might we be cheering on in Bragg Memorial Stadium?

Also the NFL Draft came and passed with not one HBCU player getting drafted.

But we have seen multiple Rattlers get the opportunity to play at the next level.

The Orange & Green Game was the culmination of a weekend which was FAMU centered. Ring Ceremonies on Friday, Breakfast & Football on Saturday while fans melted in the Florida Sun on the East Side of Bragg Memorial Stadium. 

All of this and the Softball team inches closer to winning the SWAC Championship.
