Draining as the football coaching fiasco has been the talk of many but at the same time other sports are playing and should get some attention.

But the Women’s Basketball program got its first win in the SWAC of the Gordon era. The Men’s team are what they are and the Track team did some things that will garner attention.

Boosie, Lil Boosie, Boosie Bada#&$ sang best that he did things Like a Man.

And Willie Simmons did the same thing in his leaving of FAMU after doing more than enough to not only earn a raise but to gain the attention of others.

Willie did what we all do in our own careers, do the best at the job you have, master it and then look on for the next best opportunity to support his family.

Parties, games and events galore may have the Celebration Bowl & ESPN wanting more of that Orange & Green  in the most important game in Major HBCU sports. 

41 Thousand plus saw the Rattlers come away with the Celebration Bowl Championship. 

Also FAMU Basketball gets overshadowed by the success of the HBCU National Champs!

FAMU basketball did what it was supposed to at home and took care of business against Lemoyne-Owen while Women's basketball continues to give us hope even in defeat.

Also after the State Championships at Bragg, we see that FAMU has been hot on the recruiting trail.
